Nearly seven people were killed and 26 injured in a collision between a passenger bus and a lorry on the outskirts of Karnataka’s Hubli on Tuesday.
The injured are being treated in KIMS hospital in Hubli, while the drivers of both the vehicles died on the spot, according to news agency ANI.
The passenger bus was enroute from Kolhapur to Bangalore when it collided with a lorry which was going to Dharwad at midnight between 12:30 am to 1 am, according to the police. The bus driver was trying to overtake a tractor.
FIR has been registered in the bus and lorry collision incident and Further investigation is going on.
